Why should you check out our preferred brand when there are other German Brands out there to choose from?
Here I look at the differences between them.
There are a number of German brands out there to choose from, so we have taken the top 5 and drawn comparisons between them. Our chosen brand is Schuller which comes right in the middle of these 5.
What I should say, from my research, it is apparent that all these German Brands have exemplary manufacturing capability. They all use the latest state of the art robots and machines to provide quality kitchens built to last. There is no doubt all these manufacturers produce, in my opinion’ world beating kitchen units and provide the best service to retailers around the world.
You won’t go wrong with any of these manufacturers, but we’ve described below what they do to help you make a decision on which brand you may want to go for.
NOBILIA
Nobilia only offer the interior of the units in white, but they do have a wide range of colours and flexibility with their extensive range of units. They have 2 base unit heights, 3 wall unit heights and 2 tall unit unit heights.
HACKER
Hacker has two products lines, one being on the lower budget side and the other being higher end at 10-15% more in cost. They have a wide range of doors from the veneer of natural stone, to wood, glass and lacquered matt and gloss. Both ranges offer modern, traditional and cottage style. Both styles can be handless or with handles and the higher end line offers extras like led lights in the units and a choice of internal colours for the units.
SCHULLER
Schuller has 2 lines, Schuller C which covers the budget to mid/high end and their premium brand is Next 125.
Schuller C comes with a choice of 3 base unit heights, but combined with plinth height and worktop thickness finished heights can be anything from 78.1 cm to 108.4cm. Their lacquered range of doors come in a whopping choice of 27 colours and can be in a plain door or various other more traditional and cottage style doors.
Their Schuller C range has an amazing amount of flexibility from their handless or with handles, veneered doors, glass or lacquered doors, pull out choices, open shelving choices, pre-installed lighting, handles etc…the list goes on. Not to mention their choices for the living area, study, utility or bedroom.
In my opinion Schuller offer the most amount of design choice throughout their range.
Their Next 125 premium range offers amongst other things luxury items like ceramic door fronts, breakfast cupboards and pocket door units.
NOLTE
With 183 front colours in 29 door ranges and 15 carcase colours there is plenty of choice to be had. Nolte’s offerings are very similar to Schuller with flexibility of handless or with handles, in built lighting and complimentary units that can be incorporated in the other living areas.
Nolte also has a premium range Nolte Neo incorporating premium drawer boxes and pullouts together with luxury fronts and handles.
When it comes to cost Nolte are on a par with Schuller and Hacker
BAUFORMAT
They have 2 kitchen brands Bauformat and Burger providing a full compliment from entry level to premium.
Bauformat & Burger has a vast array of door fronts to choose from between the 2 brands. Like for like they are on a par with the others above. Whilst they have lots of design choice on colours and door fronts, in my opinion they don’t have the options like Schuller for the likes of open shelving, breakfast bars / tables and pull outs.
